The RR-Pioneer Vision Remote Identification Ground Station consists of multiple radio reception channels for receiving remote identification signals, with reception protocols in accordance with international standards.
1.2 Bluetooth scanning
The Bluetooth receive channel continuously scans for Bluetooth BLE and Bluetooth BLE-Long Range packets with a remote ID payload.
1.3 Antenna reception
Three independent receiving channels continuously scan for radio signals with remote ID payloads and demodulate the output in real time.
1.4 Firmware upgrade
Supports remote upgrade over 4G or wired network.
1.5 Installation Guidelines
1.Mount the receiver to the pole using the supplied pole hugger bracket.
2.Screw the three antennas to the corresponding connectors on the housing.

1.5.1 Building materials
Building materials (wood, concrete) block wireless signals. This means that if the receiver is blocked by such objects, its detection area is reduced. This is especially true for the 5 GHz band. Additionally, this can create blind spots within the detection area, making it impossible for the drone to be detected. Therefore installing multiple receivers to repeatedly cover an area from different directions is a solution to avoid blind zones.
1.5.2 Height
The preferred mounting height is 2-40m. The lower the mounting height and the closer to the ground, the more the detection antenna is blocked and the smaller the detection range. On the other hand, mounting the receiver in a higher position will significantly increase the detection area.
1.5.3 Angle
Use an omni-directional antenna for the receiver. The receiver should be mounted vertically (perpendicular to the horizontal plane), tilting or laying flat will seriously affect the reception.
1.5.4 Power Supply
The receiver requires a 12V or 48V DC power supply.
1.5.5 Data Connectivity
1.Supports 4G wireless data transmission or wired Ethernet. 2.
1.5.6 Pole Mounting
A pole mounting bracket is provided for each receiver, which can be used to mount the receiver on a pole or directly on the wall, please refer to the following mounting schematic.
